Did an article on the decline of English proficiency, as reported by Kelly Services. Might get interviewed for Oriental Daily on this.

Interesting re-titling of the article I wrote for the sun on the subsidies and low salaries earned in Malaysia.

Boy, this one got some negative feedback. I wrote about how businesses tend to be prone to say "no" than to look for a solution to the problem, using the 90 days maternity leave called on by National Union of Bank Employees (NUBE).

Malaysia has its fair share of business-savvy individuals. My question is: how many of them are lending their knowledge to the not-for-profit sector?

It is sometimes tough being an employer. Some employers actually go out of their way to be good to their workers. Yet, in return, they sometimes face the most under-performing and unreasonable staff around.

On the one hand, we have unhappy workers or employees working in possibly unsafe conditions, and on the other hand, their employers are planting trees or contributing to the community.
