Susan Cooper's "The Dark Is Rising" sequence was probably the set of books that got my reading interests to change from Joan Aiken to darker children's books, and eventually to adult horror.

I finished the whole Harry Potter saga in a month. Seven books from one week before my operation until today. It has been a roller-coaster ride and sometimes reality is blurred. HP seems more real than real life!

Finally finished reading Gaiman & Sarrantonio's "Stories - All New Tales". As expected, all but one story were gems!

Went to Book Excess yesterday and bought four books for less than RM80: Darren Shan: The City: Book Two - Hell's Horizon & The City: Book Three - City of the Snakes; Neil Gaiman & Neil Sarrantonio: Stories - All New Tales; and, Ceri Roberts: Helping your child get fit.
