I finished the whole Harry Potter saga in a month. Seven books from one week before my operation until today. It has been a roller-coaster ride and sometimes reality is blurred. HP seems more real than real life!

Finally got around to reading JK Rowling's Harry Potter books. I started about two weeks or ten days ago with "The Philosopher's Stone" and am now in the fourth book, "The Chamber of Secrets". It's been such a roller coaster ride!

Well, I have to say I am very satisfied! Darren Shan’s City Trilogy is an amazing three-book ride I highly recommend! Notwithstanding my error in reading “City of Snakes” before “Hell’s Horizons“, the latter read was even more engrossing than the first and last books. Sharmini Flint is an Asian writer, with a 'new' detective, Inspector Singh, who is all set to tackle the murder mysteries of South East Asia. I have to say that she her plot was intriguing up to the midway point, then she threw in too many political subplots.
